Dactyloceras lucina is a striking moth belonging to the Brahmaeidae family. Native to parts of Africa, particularly Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, this species is renowned for its large wingspan and distinct coloration. The moth's wings are predominantly brown with intricate patterns of lighter and darker shades, resembling the texture of tree bark, which provides excellent camouflage in its natural habitat.

Handmade to an excellent standard here in the UK by our entomologist.  Mounted in our quality acrylic frame with a solid glass front.

Please note all specimens used in our frames are of A1 grade standard and no two insects are exactly the same. Some may be slightly bigger or smaller. You are buying a natural product. Each specimen we frame is equally as beautiful as the last.
